Our Story
Marcy & Barkley
The story of Marcy's Pet Kitchen began in the late fall of 2021. Our family added a new furry member — a silver Labrador named Barkley. We made a concerted effort to feed ourselves fresh, healthy food and knew we wanted our new addition to eat well too.
We did a lot of research into foods, snacks, and pet products and realized that if Barkley could eat fresh, homemade food that was gentle on his stomach, it would be best for him. We could actually see the ingredients in the treats and control what he was eating.
I tried various recipes and experimented with taste, texture, and organic ingredients — and Barkley was my taste-tester. Soon, we expanded to making them for other neighborhood dogs and their families. The feedback was overwhelming. Marcy's Pet Kitchen was officially born!
